Teen Tech Bham Hackathon

Saturday, March 7, 2020 (7:30 AM - 9:00 PM) (CST)

Description

We are teaming up again with TEALS (Technology Education and Literacy in Schools) and Samford University Department of Computer Science to host the Teen TechBham Hackathon. This event is open for students 8-12th grade who will work on teams with other students to solve some important challenges in their world. Last year’s event was a success bringing over 25 students for a hardware challenge and making devices that help make their worlds safer!

To make this event a success, we need volunteers who are familiar with Arduino and a desire to coach a team to complete their own projects for this year’s challenge on March 7th at Samford University’s Brock School of Business. We also are looking for some companies that would be able to sponsor our event and/or provide food and snacks for the occasion
