Meet the Panelists

Anantha Sharma - Anantha Sharma is a Sr Director and an Enterprise Architect in Synechron heading Strategy & Architecture for AI. He has about 2 decades of deep expertise in Research, Architecture, Innovation, IoT, Data Analytics, ML Modeling, Model risk management, and Engineering Anantha has built and led the Innovation practice in Bangalore and Charlotte. During his tenure at Synechron he has built PoCs, accelerators and solutions in the BFSI domain, published a number of research papers. He also played a key role in setting up the innovation & data science centers for Synechron and its clients in India.

Brian Alvarez-Bailey - Brian Alvarez-Bailey is a seasoned veteran of the startup industry with over 15 years of experience. He specializes in Fintech solutions and has played a number of roles including COO, CEO, CTO, and VP of Product Development. 

He is currently CEO of Allison: Meet Allison. Your AI Assistant. We help Community Banks, Credit Unions, and Fintechs do more with less. Let us automate your onboarding, customer management, KYC, GRC and many more back office functions.

Martha Underwood - Martha Underwood is a seasoned technology leader with a career spanning IBM, Silicon Valley, and now Birmingham, Alabama. With deep expertise in enterprise software, fintech, and digital transformation, she has led teams developing innovative solutions for insurance carriers, worked on creating the first iterations of healthcare patient portals, and led high-tech teams at a global bank. As the Founder and CEO of Prismm, she is transforming wealth transfer in the financial industry with cutting-edge technology, redefining how money is transferred to future generations and how critical documents are managed.

Sampath Pulukurthi - Sampath Pulukurthi is an Associate Director and AI Lead Engineer at Synechron, where he leads the AI practice and collaborates on innovative client projects. With nearly a decade of experience in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, he specializes in solving complex use cases that drive business value and enhance operational efficiency. He has extensive experience working with clients in the Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI) sector, where he has successfully implemented AI-driven solutions. He holds a master’s degree in Analytics from Bowling Green State University, equipping him with a robust foundation in advanced analytical techniques and methodologies. Throughout his career, Sampath has demonstrated a commitment to leveraging data-driven insights to empower organizations to embrace AI technologies.
