Description
Join us at Tech Tuesday this month as we invite community pillar, Victor Brown, to share with us updates on the City of Birmingham’s VITAL program for supplier diversity, and inspire us with his wisdom from years of investing in the community he has adopted as his home.In his role as Vice President of Business Development for the Birmingham Business Alliance, Victor Brown works to impact business growth among major employers in the seven-county Birmingham region in partnership with economic development allies, business resource partners, and his BBA colleagues. Victor’s work centers around an intentional approach to identify companies in traditional, emerging, and underrepresented industry sectors that are currently experiencing job growth and making capital investments.
Prior to his career at the BBA, Victor had a long career in the financial services industry. He holds a BBA from Georgia State University.
Victor was born in Atlanta but has been a resident of Birmingham since 2001. Although a native of Atlanta, he is proud to say he is from Birmingham! He resides with his wife Tahiera Monique Brown. They have a son, a daughter, eight grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and one grandchild on the way.
