Join Tech Equals for an insightful evening at their LGBTQ+ Civic Engagement - How To Protect Your Rights and Keep Your Job program! 

Tech Equals has a rockstar panel of leaders from queer and social-minded organizations (HRC, ACLU of Alabama) and entrepreneurs and IT professionals (Shipt, Alabama Power, LunarLab) who are all actively doing the work in tech, business, and civic engagement. 

Inspired by many requests from community members, we'll be discussing the nuances and opportunities of navigating this topic in and out of our jobs. Topics include: 

• The individual impact we can make as a member of the LGBTQ+ community 
• How we can start having these discussions in our workplace 
• How can we show up both inside and outside of the workplace? 
• Where do we stay up on recent events and bills? 
• How can we plug in tactically? 
• How do we meet others and amplify our voices together? 

These experienced leaders and IT professionals will share their work and offer valuable advice to all attendees. There will also be time to hangout and chat informally! Whether you are an aspiring entrepreneur, a seasoned professional, or simply interested in how to navigate civic engagement in the workplace, this event will be resonant and thought-provoking for you.
