TEALS March Madness Volunteer Recruitment Kick-Off!

Are you a programmer/developer/software engineer/creative coding genius who wants to help develop the next generation of Birmingham techies? Plug in with TEALS!

TEALS is a national organization with a goal of getting computer science into every high school. We bring tech professionals into the high school classroom to co-teach computer science with classroom teachers. We are gearing up for our 3rd year in Birmingham and need volunteers like you to make the program possible. Come learn the what, how & why of volunteering with TEALS and hear from some current volunteers, teachers, and students who will participate in a panel Q & A.

5:30-6:00pm - Networking & Refreshments

6:00-6:15pm - Welcome from special guests

6:15-6:35pm - What, How & Why of Volunteering with TEALS

6:35-7:00pm - Panel Q & A with current volunteers, teachers, and students

7:00-7:30pm - Mingle with the panel, ask questions, and apply!
