TechBirmingham is continuing its popular Navigating the New Normal webinar series. Navigating the New Normal is designed for TechBirmingham members and member companies to present practical information, tips, and suggestions to our community.

This episode we welcome Anthony C. Hood, PhD, the Director of Civic Innovation in the Office of the President at UAB. Dr. Hood will be discussing why it's important to maintain the commitment to D&I that people are showing so publicly since George Floyd and the BLM protests. He and TechBirmingham President Deon Gordon will have an honest talk about not just professing your commitment but putting your "money where your mouth is" and developing truly impactful and ongoing structures that not only establish a company's commitment to D&I but actively advance the equity in the workplace.
