Congressman Palmer Telephone Town Hall: COVID-19 & Small Business

On Monday, Congressman Gary Palmer (Al-06) will host a teleconference call to discuss COVID-19 and efforts to assist small businesses through the Small Business Administration. He will be joined in the call by Tom Todt, District Director for the SBA based in Birmingham, who can discuss PPP (Paycheck Protection Program), EIDL (Economic Injury Disaster Loans), and other assistance that may be available through the SBA.
 
Mr. Todt began his duties as District Director in June 2008. In his role, and as District Director oversees a professional staff of 10 in the delivery of SBA’s Financial Assistance, Entrepreneurial Development, Business Training, Government Contracting and other marketing and outreach programs throughout Alabama’s 67 counties. This delivery network includes 10 Small Business Development Centers, six SCORE chapters, three Women’s Business Centers, four Certified Development Companies and dozens of lending institutions.
