Responsibilities


This position is based onsite in our office in Atlanta, Nashville, or Birmingham. We’re seeking a skilled systems engineer who has the business knowledge and technical expertise to implement strategies, evaluate products, and build upon an infrastructure that supports the changing needs of our company and industry. In this role, the systems engineer will manage our fleet of endpoints and their configuration, deployment, and security. The ideal candidate will be able to reliably deliver mission-critical infrastructure with an eye toward security, accessibility, and optimization.

 

Responsibilities and Essential Duties:

  • Manage and oversee enrollment of new devices, ensuring they are properly configured, secured, and tracked throughout their lifecycle.
  • Automate and enhance processes using scripting, particularly with PowerShell.
  • Create and deploy applications (LOB/Win32/Store Apps, etc.) and configuration changes using Intune.
  • Implement and maintain endpoint security policies.
  • Manage software packaging, deployment, and patch management to ensure devices remain secure and up to date.
  • Collaborate with the cybersecurity team to address vulnerability remediation and incident response.
  • Conduct regular maintenance and optimization of endpoint systems, identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Provide expert support and guidance to resolve technical challenges efficiently.
  • Communicate with stakeholders to understand their needs and goals for systems and applications.
  • Work with vendors to obtain quotes and services for new or existing applications, services, and equipment.


Education - Skills - Knowledge - Qualifications & Experience


  • 2+ years of experience with Microsoft Intune, SCCM, and Mobile Device Management (MDM) platforms.
  • Bachelor's degree in a technology-related field or relevant certifications.
  • Experience with application packaging, driver management, and imaging.
  • Proficiency in PowerShell scripting is essential.
  • Experience with "Windows Autopilot" deployment using Azure/Intune.
  • In-depth knowledge of creating and configuring MDM policies.
  • Experience with Microsoft Graph is a plus.
  • Eagerness and ability to learn.
  • Effective communication with varied audiences, including leadership and business partners.
  • Solution-oriented mindset.
  • Desire and ability to teach and mentor others.
