Students, faculty, and IT professionals are invited to attend the inaugural IS Tech Expo to benefit current and future UAB students. Attendees will network and socialize at vendor tables throughout the CSB Commons for an hour before transitioning to the Medical Properties Trust Auditorium for a lively panel discussion featuring CIOs and experts in Alabama's information systems industry discussing Birmingham's flourishing local tech scene. Event vendors and professionals are encouraged to stay after the panel for an exclusive business networking event featuring heavy hors d'oeuvres and cocktails. 

4:00 – 5:15 p.m. Technology Expo in the Commons Grab some SWAG and enjoy pizza while meeting representatives from dozens of companies in a relaxed and informative atmosphere. 5:30 – 6:15 p.m. Technology Panel in the Auditorium ***Door Prizes for students Hear from four influential leaders of the Birmingham Tech Community Panel Members Dr. Curt Carver – CIO, University of Alabama at Birmingham Rollis Reisner – Board Chair, ALABAMACIO; AVP, Director of Innovation and IoT Programs, McWane Inc.
