Birmingham Women in Technology is excited to welcome Becky Patterson, Director of Health Care Analytics at Blue Cross Blue Shield Alabama! Becky leads the HCA division of BCBSAL and its mission to support data driven decisions for the organization. The Health Care Analytics division includes clinical and enterprise level analytic support at BCBSAL including care management, network management and design, corporate utilization, pharmacy, account support and consultation, quality, and risk. In addition, her division has responsibility for business intelligence, data management, advanced analytics, and data governance.

Becky developed and executed on the Data & Analytics roadmap for her organization. A dynamic strong leader with great vision and passion for developing professionals to achieve their sought-after career goals and skills.

Becky holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Administration from Auburn University and a Master of Science in Health Administration (MSHA) degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB). Becky joined Blue Cross Blue Shield of Alabama in 1999 and has over 23 years of experience working with health care analytics and clinical programs
