Alabama 99s and the Zonta Club of Birmingham are partnering on their 27th annual luncheon to celebrate the life and legacy of famed aviator Amelia Earhart. Her flight on January 11, 1935 made her the first person to fly across both the Pacific and Atlantic oceans.
Cost is $35, students $15* with the proceeds going to the Amelia Earhart Birthplace Museum in Atchison, KS. Tickets may be purchased via event-brite. https://2023_ae_

Our speaker is Major Sarah Todd Green, U.S. Air Force, commissioned at Auburn University in May 2010. Her current assignment is flying the U-28A Draco at Hurlburt Field, FL. She has over 1,000 civilian flying hours, over 2,200 flying hours on active duty, and over 1200 of those hours in combat. She has served in Qatar, Djibouti, Afghanistan and Iraq. She is an American hero.
