UAB Information Technology is currently seeking a Mobile App Developer II-ENT to assist UAB in building and maintaining its current mobile application portfolio.  

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

1.  Develops, tests and deploys mobile device applications for the enterprise and the public.

2.  Maintains a focus on customer engagement, while working to develop innovative solutions that add business value.

3.  Provides leadership, mentoring, and guiding to junior developers within the mobile applications team.  


Qualified applicants will have a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field and six (6) years of related experience.  A equitable combination of education and experience is acceptable.  Candidates should have a demonstrable portfolio of released applications on the App store or Android market as well as the ability to communicate with business owners to understand their needs and experiences.
