About the Role

We're seeking to hire a dynamic full stack engineer who wants to build fast and fun things in the AI space. The ideal person for this role is excited about augmenting human potential with cutting-edge AI and taking ownership of their work. They move fast without sacrificing quality and enjoy working alongside their teammates. 

As a Full Stack Engineer in a small engineering team, you will inform product decisions. We believe in every team member taking on areas of ownership and value accountability and transparency. This means you have more creativity and freedom to problem-solve and architect solutions. In this new and exciting industry, advancements in technology are made every day, which requires our team to be on our toes, and we are learning new things every day. About You

• BS in a technical field such as Computer Science, Engineering or Mathematics is highly preferred but not required.
• Experience as a Senior Software Engineer, Full Stack Engineer or similar role
• You have experience working in small companies or start-ups - owning your own work and wearing multiple hats is familiar and exciting.
• This is not an entry level role. Ability to produce high quality production code as a solo engineer is required
• Strong experience with React, Typescript, OpenAI
• Familiarity with databases such as MongoDB
• Experience with version control systems such a GitHub
• API development experience
• Code management, testing, and review
• Proficiency with middleware, authentication, and security.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with both technical and non-technical team members
• Scrappy and self-motivated
• Entrepreneurial-minded. Have scaled unique technology or products and thrive in a high-paced environment, and passionate about building intuitive products that affect millions of users
• Experience with architecture design, and comfortable with designing software from inception. 
• Responsibility with estimating and meeting software deadlines
• Not required but highly desirable if you also have experience:
• Have developed personal apps, owned applications from end-to-end
