Director of IT

Office Non-Profit and Social Services Executive and Management

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  Manages IT staff workload, assignments, and project scheduling

  Supervises system installation and end-user training and oversees resolution of conflicts

Serves as internal consultant by analyzing environments and defining appropriate processes required   to enhance and ensure overall IT infrastructure.

Evaluates new software applications, systems, and hardware for future budgeting needs

  Directs IT operations to meet customer requirements.

  Oversees support and maintenance of existing applications

  Acts as the primary liaison between outside A/V & IT vendors and ASRM.

  Provides ongoing review and maintenance of existing applications and systems

  Ensures that all end users are satisfactorily trained in applicable systems

Leads and directs overall planning, organizing and execution of all IT functions at the organization

Functions as a Project Manager on new development projects

Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by COO or CEO


  • Bachelors degree in Information Technology or Computer Science required, Master’s preferred
  • Previous experience office-based IT environment.
  • 5+ years of management experience required
  • Excellent organizational skills: detail oriented, able to manage and prioritize projects effectively
  • Excellent communication skills: written, oral, and interpersonal
