COO - Civil Engineering Firm

iSeek Solutions is currently partnering with a Birmingham-based civil engineering firm to create a roadmap of objectives required to meet the goals of its 3-year strategic growth plan. 

iSeek’s client is seeking a highly motivated, innovative, change agent to serve as its Chief Operations Officer (COO). The COO will be responsible for developing policy guidance and structure to meet the goals of the Company’s strategic plan, manage day-to-day operations across all functional areas, manage and delegate assignments to successfully execute the duties required to plan, organize, direct, and evaluate all job activities.

The ideal candidate will have a professional engineering degree (PE), with 8+ years’ overall experience in engineering design of which includes a minimum of 3 years of working knowledge of project management disciplines. The candidate should have the ability to lead teams and a proven track record of building relationships in the AEC construction industry. They will be responsible for managing relationships with clients, project managers, designers, as well as maintaining project profitability, developing new business opportunities, and employee oversight.
